Jams Dean is the kind of artist the world needs more of: an eccentric rapper. The Chicago native rhymes about apple muffins and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and advertises his services as a love and relationship advisor on his MySpace page. So in true hip-hop mad scientist fashion, he took the Karen O song "Igloo," from the Where the Wild Things Are soundtrack, and remixed into this easy, head-bobbing jam. Dean has a relaxed, almost timid flow that's refreshing, and even a bit endearing. And his quirky, stream of consciousness lyrics suit the track well.
