Live in the Greene Space

Soundcheck | Jan 12, 2012

Today, Soundcheck heads to the Greene Space to showcase two very different takes on American popular song. Tony Award winner and television actor Audra McDonald takes the stage with her “Porgy and Bess” co-star Norm Lewis to discuss her return to Broadway - and to perform favorites from the newly reworked American opera. Plus: Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten gives us a sneak preview of songs from her upcoming record, Tramp.
