When Sy Montgomery joined us for a Please Explain segment on octopuses this past August, we were in awe of not only her depth of knowledge, but of her passion for the eight-legged creature. Today we were happy to learn that Sy's book, The Soul of an Octopus, is a 2015 National Book Award finalist for non-fiction. You can listen to our full interview with Sy Montgomery here:
