A debut novel tells the story of a young Chinese girl who is kidnapped and brought to the United States, where she must fend for herself in a nation that is beginning to consider anti-Chinese legislation which ultimately becomes the Chinese Exclusion Act. Author Jenny Tinghui Zhang joins us to discuss her novel, Four Treasures of the Sky, as part of our series, "2022 Debuts."
