Eva Tanguay: The Queen of Vaudeville

Soundcheck | Aug 29, 2012

A hundred years ago the brash and flamboyant vaudeville singer Eva Tanguay was one of the biggest celebrities of her time. But not much has been known about her life -- until now. Joining us with the story is the writer Andrew Erdman, whose new book is called Queen of Vaudeville: The Story of Eva Tanguay.

Plus, musicians Bree Benton and Franklin Bruno perform some of Tanguay's hit songs live in our studio.
