Songs For Other Lifeforms And Anais Mitchell In Studio

Soundcheck | Sep 4, 2012

Here's a hypothetical: You have two spacecrafts. One is loaded with songs so good you have to share them with aliens and future humans to show off the best of music. The other, with songs that no one -- not even humans -- should ever hear again and will sent directly into the sun. Today on Soundcheck, blogger Adam Dawson and musician Jarrett Nicolay nominate three bands, and pick one song from each to be sent to the aliens, and one sent into the sun.

Later, singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell delivers a stirring performance in the Soundcheck studio.
