Lianne La Havas: A Young Voice With Old Soul

A year ago, Lianne La Havas had just put out her debut EP following a songwriting stint in New York City. Now, the 23-year-old British soul singer has fans like Prince and Stevie Wonder and a Mercury Prize-nominated album, Is Your Love Big Enough? 

La Havas recently joined us in the studio to talk about her musical influences -- including Ella Fitzgerald's "Cow Cow Boogie" -- about the "older man" referenced in one of her songs, and about taking phone calls from Prince in dark alleys.

La Havas also performed a stripped-down set of songs off her critically-acclaimed album.
