Menomena: On 'Moms,' Dads, And Amy Grant

The last time Portland, Oregon-based band Menomena was in the studio, the group was touring behind their critically acclaimed 2010 album, Mines -- an album that also could have been their last. The band's members were open about their interpersonal issues and tensions -- the sort that could take down any relationship.

But now, two years later, Menomena is back with a new album, called Moms. The band stopped by to discuss the changes to their lineup, the family histories that inspired this latest release, and why drummer Danny Seim will always love Amy Grant.
