Yellowbirds: Expansive Pop, In The Studio

Yellowbirds, the Brooklyn-based psych pop band led by songwriter Sam Cohen, returns with a second album, Songs Fom The Vanished Frontier. With big hooks drenched in layers of guitars and synths, it's a fitting follow-up to the band's expansive sound on its first album, 2011's The Color.

Yellowbirds has a residency at Rockwood Music Hall each Wednesday night in June.
