The world premiere of Anthony Korf’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra will be held tonight. But this afternoon Korf joins us in the studio along with pianist Christopher Oldfather to offer a live performace. Guitarist Bill Frisell and award winning visual artist Jim Woodring will be in to talk about a multi-media suite for guitar, trumpet, violin and charcoal. They're staging it at Art's at St. Ann's, and they'll tell us how.
And composer and performer Daniel Bernard Roumain of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus will be in to discuss his educational projects, his upcoming world premiere performances and his unique perspective on youth and the arts.
