Singer-songwriter Leona Naess released three albums in quick succession at the dawn of this decade. But in 2004, the sudden death of her father stopped her in her tracks. The New York-born and London-raised Naess tells us how the tragedy and a methodical approach to songwriting influenced the material on her latest album, “Thirteens.” And, she performs live in our studio.
