Creators at Carnegie

Evening Music | May 6, 2010
“Creators at Carnegie,” from NPR, with jazz pianist and composer Fred Hersch is our first hour feature.
Evening Music’s second hour will offer several short works from composers as diverse as Albinoni and Schubert, Chopin and Mozart. David Finckel, the cellist, also composes. We hear his “Portrait,” a work for cello and piano for which he is joined by Wu Han on piano. The two will be featured on WNYC’s Music Party, next Saturday, June 25, at 8:00pm.
