Stravinsky's modeled his first set of "Easy Pieces" around conventional forms that appealed to kids, like the march and the polka. For his second set, the "Five Easy Pieces," he created caricatures of a nationalistic flavor, parodying musical styles from Spain, Russia and Italy.
