47Soul at BRIC House

The band 47Soul is a Palestinian group based in Jordan. They combine the sounds of electronic dance music with traditional Arab rhythms, and combine English and Arabic in their lyrics. The resulting style is called Shamstep, which itself is a combination of the Arabic name for the Levant region – Bilad al-Sham – and the electronic music style known as dubstep. The Jordan-based group 47Soul gets a dance party going at BRIC House Ballroom & Stoop on Thursday, March 7.
