Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns discusses his latest PBS series, "The National Parks: America’s Best Idea." He’s joined by Dayton Duncan, co-producer of the series, and Shelton Johnson, a park ranger in Yosemite National Park to discuss how these special places became preserved as parks, the role of individual citizens in creating them, and the powerful stories of people's emotional connection to them. There's also an accompanying book, The National Parks: America's Best Idea. The series begins on PBS Sunday, September 27th.
