As host John Schaefer trawls through the stacks of new CDs in his office, he's emerged with a handful of the most intriguing ones for our monthly new releases program. Also, joining us live in the studio is the East-West Ensemble, the boundary-blurring Israeli band which mixes the melodies and structures of Jewish, Arab, Asian, rock, and jazz idioms.
