Producer/programmer/bassist/composer Bill Laswell Laswell has been recognized for both his innovations in the studio and for his work with musicians of wildly diverse backgrounds. On this episode of New Sounds, he discusses his recent work with Herbie Hancock, Sting, and Ethiopian singer Gigi, and revisits his past collaborations with Celtic, Cuban, and other musicians.
