From Mozart to Bartok, there’s a long tradition of music about nighttime. We’ll hear some contemporary works that suggest the darkness, the stillness, the unsettled dreams and mixed emotions that people associate with the night. Hear works by John Corigliano, George Crumb, Brian Eno, Raphael Mostel, and others.
