AIDS Activists and Researchers Gather at International Conference

Over the weekend, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that they've been under-counting the number of people in the U.S. who get infected with HIV each year. Earlier estimates put the number at around 40,000. Now the CDC says that number is closer to 55,000. The 2008 International AIDS Conference in Mexico City served as the backdrop for the announcement. Soterios Johnson spoke with Kenyon Farrow, director of national public education for the group, Queers for Economic Justice in New York City, to get reaction from the event.
