WTC Health Registry Hosts Meeting

More than 500 people attended the 2nd annual World Trade Center Health Registry meeting last night. They sought answers about their health since the 9/11 attacks.
REPORTER: One of the attendees, Emma, would only give her first name. She and her daughter moved out of state after September 11th. She wants to know more about her lingering nightmares and her daughter's breathing problems, but she wasn't expecting to receive much help.
EMMA: In New York, you pay a lot of taxes, you work hard, you play hard and you expect that the people that are in control that govern you, look out for your welfare. No, I have no confidence in New York.
REPORTER: Registry officials urged participants to complete and turn in the second round of health surveys due in a month. So far, 71,000 people have signed up for the program that tracks the mental and physical health of people affected by 9/11. Results from the new survey will be released next year.
