WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

This year's list of Rhodes Scholars includes a few New Yorkers. Adam Levine of the Bronx, Scott Thompson of Manhattan and Laurel Gabler of Amagansett were among 32 men and women from across the US who were selected.

Also 2 Columbia students - Jason Bello of Boston and George Olive of Springfield, Missouri. The scholarships, the oldest of the international study awards available to American students, provide 2 or 3 years of study. The students will enter Oxford University next October.
