TB Victims Stays in New York Hospital

City health officials say a Georgia man infected with a drug resistant form of tuberculosis was isolated the entire time he was in a New York City hospital and that there's no reason to believe anyone here is at risk of getting sick.

The city's Health Department says the man was isolated during his 72 hour stay at Bellevue Hospital and did not take any public transportation. On Monday, he was escorted to Atlanta by officials from the Centers for Disease Control, who have him under quarantine.
