An '80s Horror Collection from Criterion for Spooky Season

The 1980s were a transformative time for horror movies, with new innovators like David Cronenberg, Paul Schrader, and John Carpenter experimenting with new ways to terrify an audience. A new series from the Criterion Channel, "'80s Horror," features 30 horror movies from throughout the decade, from creature features to paranormal frights. Curator Clyde Folley joins us to discuss what makes the 80s such a special decade for horror, and takes calls from listeners about their favorite 80s horror flicks.
