Nestled among the tightly packed storefronts above Canal Street, one narrow shop window looks out of place. While many businesses display signs in Chinese or nothing at all, for the past three years, 53 Ludlow Street keeps changing. It's the home of e-flux, an artists collective that is part for-profit email announcement service and part non-commercial art exhibitor.
