More Remains Discovered at WTC Site

Two bones were recovered this week from debris in a manhole at the World Trade Center site. They are the first discoveries in more than a month in the ongoing search for human remains from the Sept. 11 attack.
The bones were found in a 4th manhole underneath a service road on the western edge of the site. More than 210 body parts have been found inside manholes on the service road since Oct. 19th, most in the first one that utility workers had been digging up.
One bone was recovered Tuesday, another Wednesday. Workers have been digging a trench in the road on the trade center site have searched the rooftops of two buildings and have dug up several manholes in a renewed search for human remains, missed in the original cleanup of the site.
