Amtrak Brings Acelas Back on Track

WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

Amtrak is running one of its high-speed Acela trains today and it hopes it'll be able to place a second one in service today.

Acela service was suspended Friday because of brake problems. The 8am Acela Express from New York to Washington departed this morning and will make a 2pm run from Washington to Boston.

Amtrak normally runs 15 Acela weekday roundtrips between New York and Washington and eleven between New York and Boston.
