Beverly Hills, 90210 Fans Celebrate Sept. 2, 2010
People of a certain age will remember hanging out at the Peach Pit or West Beverly Hills High vicariously through the hit Fox TV show, Beverly Hills, 90210.
Darren Star started the series in October of 1990, and today, nearly 20 years later, fans of the show are celebrating the show because its zipcode, 90210, corresponds with today's date, September 2, 2010.
The 90210 9/02/10 connection may be a bit of a nerd alert, but it certainly raised a pressing question in the WNYC Culture department: Which 90210 character did you most identify with? Brenda, Brandon, Dylan, Kelly, Steve, Andrea, Donna or David?
