Brooklyn's Pistons Rev High

One of the top-ranked high school football teams in Brooklyn hasn't played a bona-fide home game in five years. Saturday, they finally get the chance.

The Pistons, the team from Willamsburg's Automotive High School, have been struggling without their own field at the school. Coach Hassed Khawaja says the team has also faced obstacles finding places to practice.

"We had to practice on concrete a few times in the last six years -- one time in the back of our building in the parking lot -- so that definitely one of the major disadvantages of not having your own field." 

But Khawaja thinks the challenges have made the team scrappy.

"Our kids, travel and hour -- some an hour and a half -- by subway to get here and then practice till 7:00 at night -- so they are some of the toughest kids you'll ever meet."

The Pistons have been barred from playing at McCarren by the Public School Athletic League, in part, because the park doesn't have a fence around the field. The school has hired extra security and brought in volunteers so the team can finally enjoy a home game.

The match between the Pistons and Bayside High School will kick of 11 a.m.
