The Cleveland Quartet

The Cleveland Quartet joins host Robert Sherman in a program of chamber music. Works include Haydn's Quartet No. 64 in D major, Op. 76, No. 5, the Second Movement from Alban Berg's String Quartet, Op. 3, and two movements from the quartets of Beethoven: the Assai sostenuto – Allegro from the String Quartet No. 15 in A minor, Op. 132, and the Scherzo Allegro from String Quartet No. 6 in B-flat major, Op. 18, No. 6.
The program, sponsored by Marine Midland Bank, was recorded at the New York Times Auditorium before a studio audience.
