Actor Ben Vereen Talks About His Time Out

Actor Ben Vereen discusses his latest film, "Time Out of Mind," which co-stars Richard Gere and Jena Malone. In the film, a homeless man (Richard Gere) seeks refuge at Bellevue Hospital, a Manhattan intake center for homeless men. There his friendship with a fellow client helps him try to repair his relationship with his estranged daughter (Jena Malone). Vereen also just launched a new program called Wellness Through the Arts, which focus on youth health and arts education.

In New York, the film is currently playing at the IFC Center and Lincoln Plaza.
