Agyness Deyn Stars in a Scottish Film by Terence Davies
Actress Agyness Deyn and director Terence Davies join us to discuss “Sunset Song.” Deyn stars as Chris Guthrie, the daughter of a Scottish farmer who searches for a way to escape her life and her small village at just before the start of World War I.
"Sunset Song" opens Friday, May 13th at Lincoln Plaza Cinemas (1886 Broadway) and Film Forum (209 West Houston Street). There will be a Q&A with Terence Davies following the 6:45 p.m. show.
On Saturday, May 14, there will be a Q&A with Terence Davies following the 3:40 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. shows at Lincoln Plaza.
The Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35 Avenue, Astoria) also hosting a retrospective of Terence Davies’ films from May 2 through May 22. Agyness Deyn and Terence Davies will attend a special 7 p.m. screening of the film on May 10th.
