Alan Braufman featuring Cooper-Moore at The Greene Space
Tickets: Free. Show at 6PM.

In 1975, the sax player Alan Braufman, the pianist, instrument builder, and educator Cooper-Moore, and a group of like-minded improvisers got together to record an album, called Valley of Search. It became a cult phenomenon, a document of a particular time in New York’s rich underground history of improvised music. Now, that album has finally been reissued, and tonight, in the Greene Space, Alan Braufman, pianist Cooper-Moore, and their band will be playing that music live for the first time in over 40 years.
