Albany Update: Jumaane Williams and Julia Salazar on the 9 Rent Regulation Legislations

New York's rent laws expire on June 15 and the Democratically-controlled legislature is backing nine bills to replace them with stronger tenant protections. NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and NYS Senator Julia Salazar (D 18th), sponsor of S5040, argue in favor of the proposed bills and explain what would change.
