Highlights from Get Lit with Patricia Lockwood and John Darnielle, Full Bio: Mike Nichols, Stooping NYC

All Of It with Alison Stewart | Apr 5, 2021

We air highlights from our March Get Lit with All Of It book club event with author and poet Patricia Lockwood, which took place virtually live on March 31. We spent the month reading Lockwood’s debut novel, No One is Talking About This, which follows an unnamed narrator as she explores sudden Internet fame while grappling with grief and loss.

We air two special performances from John Darnielle, who performs as the Mountain Goats, from our March Get Lit with All Of It book club event.

In today's installment of our Full Bio series, author Mark Harris discusses Mike Nichols' theatrical beginnings as a performer, his collaboration with Elaine May, and the impact of their relationship on their own careers and American comedy. Mark Harris is the author of Mike Nichols: A Life.

We'll speak with one of the anonymous founders of Stooping NYC an Instagram account with 156,000 followers that is dedicated to sharing sidewalk trash finds. We'll also take calls from listeners.
