As the city opens up, not everyone is ready to abandon mask wearing. Some people feel safer--from COVID, but also from street harassment and even violence. Zoom and video chatting have changed the way students with disabilities experience the classroom. Now that students are returning to class, how will this affect the deaf and hard of hearing community? She specializes in working with faculty to help create a more inclusive learning environment, and discusses the benefits both virtual and physical classroom space can provide.

Director Mike Rianda joins us to discuss his animated film, “The Mitchells vs. The Machines.”

As of now, there are over 10 tons of human-made objects on Mars, with more missions planned for later in the decade. We look at the line between exploration and colonization. Joining us are Dr. Alice Gorman, AKA Dr. Space Junk, an archaeologist and who looks at spacecraft and off-earth landing sites the way others look at clay pots and cave art; and Chris Schaberg, an English professor at Loyola University New Orleans specializing in the environmental humanities, who recently wrote an article called, "We're Already Colonizing Mars."
