The novel The Atmospherians tells the story of a former beauty influencer who teams up with her best friend to start a group aimed at de-programming men who suffer from ‘toxic masculinity.’ But the program ends up causing as many problems as it solves. Author Alex McElroy joins us to discuss the novel, which Kirkus calls an “edgy, addictive” debut.

The January 6 uprising was stoked, in part, by the false belief that the election was "stolen," a theory spouted by some right-wing media and talk show hosts. New Yorker staff writer Evan Osnos profiled one of those personalities, radio host Dan Bongino.
