Jackie Robinson is one of the most famous and celebrated athletes ever in the United States. Many know he broke baseball's color barrier when he suited up for the Brooklyn Dodgers, but there's more to Robinson's story, like his early years growing up in California, trying to make it in the minor leagues, and his civil rights activism after his playing career.
