All Of It with Alison Stewart | Dec 2, 2022

The modern classic novel, The Hours, has been adapted for the big screen, and now it has been adapted into an opera. Kevin Puts, the composer, and Kelli O'Hara, who stars as troubled 1950s housewife Laura Brown, join us to discuss the adaptation, showing now at the Metropolitan Opera.

The new documentary "Sr." is a tribute to countercultural underground director Robert Downey Sr, produced by and featuring his movie star son. It is available to stream on Netflix today. Director Chris Smith joins us.

This week Spotify released it's popular "wrapped" feature, which shows users what artists and songs they spent the most time listening to this year. Joining us to talk about his personal top artists and tracks from 2022 is Charlie Harding, co-host and executive producer of the podcast Switched on Pop. Plus, we take calls from listeners who want to share their Spotify Wrapped results.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the knockout stage of the 2022 men's World Cup, as thirty-two teams have been reduced to sixteen. Brendan Hunt, who stars as Coach Beard in the series, "Ted Lasso," happens to actually be a massive soccer fan, and is also the co-host of the podcast, After the Whistle, which breaks down all the talking points, action, and controversy of this year's World Cup. Hunt joins to preview the rest of the tournament and take your calls.
