A new exhibition at the Whitney opening tomorrow celebrates the life and work of influential and pioneering artist, dancer, and choreographer Alvin Ailey. Edges of Ailey presents items from Ailey's archive, as well as live performances in the museum, including AILEY in residence. Curator Adrienne Edwards discusses this innovative show, on view through February 9, 2025.
