Angélica Negrón via National Sawdust (Archived Stream)
Monday, July 13, on National Sawdust Performance Channel

Angélica Negrón is one of those young musicians who refuse to be bound by music categories. She is a composer who’s written for chamber groups and symphony orchestras. She is also a singer/songwriter with the electronic dream-pop band called Balún. And sometimes she writes music that doesn’t sit comfortably in either classical or pop circles, like her work, "Drawings for Meyoko," for chamber music trio and electronics. On Monday, July 13, National Sawdust streams a live archived concert of Angélica Negrón's music which includes original electronic songs and some of her more esoteric instrumentation for cookware and potted plants.
