Approaching College Move-in Day as a Parent

A family walks down a corridor at Lee Hall as college students begin moving in for the fall semester at N.C. State University in Raleigh, N.C., Friday, July 31, 2020.

As a parent, moving your kid into college can be hard, with a mix of feelings. On the one hand, you're sad your child won't be at home anymore, but also, you're proud of their independence. To give us advice on how parents can work through these feelings, we're joined by Rafael Rodriguez, dean of students at NYU, and Matt Lundquist, founder and clinical director of Tribeca Therapy. Plus, we take your calls.

This segment is guest-hosted by David Furst.
