How Arizona Activists Fight Against Deportations

New York Times Magazine contributing writer Marcela Valdes discusses her recent article, “Is it Possible to Resist Deportation in Trump’s America?” along with Erika Andiola, immigrant rights activist and the first president of the Arizona Dream Act Coalition. The Trump administration is modeling its policies concerning undocumented immigrants on Arizona laws, which are some of the toughest in the country. Now, state activists are wondering if the strategies they used to resist those laws can still be effective.
