The Emotion Of Ancient Greek Art

The Leonard Lopate Show | Jun 14, 2017

Angelos Chaniotis and Alexander Nehamas join us to discuss the Onassis Cultural Center exhibit "A World of Emotions: Ancient Greece, 700 BC – 200 AD." The exhibit explores ancient art by bringing together more than 130 works from museums across the world including the Acropolis Museum, National Archaeological Museum, and the Louvre. Some of these pieces will be on view in the United States for the first time or have never been seen outside of Greece.

"A World of Emotions" is on display at the Onassis Cultural Center (645 5th Ave., between W 51st St. and W 52nd St.) until June 24.
