MoMA film curator Josh Siegel and writer James Layton discuss MoMA’s summer film exhibition, “Glorious Technicolor: From George Eastman House and Beyond,” which celebrates the 100th anniversary of Technicolor. The series features American films made between 1922 and 1955: the year that Hollywood studios stopped using Technicolor three-strip cameras. The films trace the development of Technicolor as both a technology and an art form. The exhibition runs from June 5 to August 5.
