Because writer Lawrence Weschler has written so often about the artist David Hockney and his depictions of Southern California fine living, he took note of the work of L.A. artist Ramiro Gomez whose paintings include the immigrant gardeners and pool cleaners who care for those immaculate scenes of L.A. luxury.
