#AskTheMayor: Gang Take Downs, Glass and Steel Skyscrapers, MTA Repairs Begin

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio takes calls from listeners and discusses this week in NYC, including recent backlash from gang take downs, the ban on steel and skyscrapers, and the L train repairs.
"The gang take downs which involve a thorough investigation, indictment and trial have resulted in making communities safer," says @NYCMayorsOffice. "We're the safest big city in America but we still have pockets we have to focus on, a lot of that has to do with gangs and crews."

On the L Train: "You can’t call it a shutdown anymore… the repair period, let’s call it a year and a half, we’re going to experiment with this effort to limit access to 14th street and make sure buses move," says @NYCMayor.
