#3733: Bang On A Can All-Stars 2015 PCF Concert

New Sounds | Jun 2, 2015

Hear highlights from the annual Bang on a Can People's Commissioning Fund concert, including three world premieres of new music by Wilco's Glenn Kotche, Jace Clayton (aka DJ/rupture) and Irish composer Donnacha Dennehy commissioned by the people, for the people. Plus, listen to works by Bang on a Can co-founder Michael Gordon and composer Annie Gosfield. The works were recorded at Merkin Concert Hall, as part of an Ecstatic Music Festival / New Sounds Live co-presentation.

The Bang on a Can People’s Commissioning Fund is a radical partnership between artists and audiences to commission works from adventurous composers, funded by hundreds of small contributions every year. Read about the PCF at Bang on a Can's website.
