Be Our Guest (Host)

Studio 360 | Sep 2, 2014

For only the second time since we’ve been on the air, Kurt Andersen will be handing over the keys to Studio 360. When he skips town, he’ll be leaving the show in the hands of an incredibly talented, charismatic, versatile, intelligent guy — Alan Cumming.

With eight performances a week as the master of ceremonies in Cabaret and a TV series starting to film, Cumming might seem a little busy. Why take on hosting duties, too? “It’s rare that you go on a show as an interviewee and have actually a proper intelligent, thought-provoking chat,” Cumming explains. “That’s the experience I had when I came on your show. I thought it would be fascinating to be on the other side of that.”

Alan Cumming will guest host Studio 360 the weekend of September 19. The genius-level critic Hilton Als will take the host’s chair for the following week’s show.
