Bonus Weekend Podcast: Speakers from the Women's March

The Leonard Lopate Show | Jul 29, 2017

On Thursday, guest host Phoebe Robinson took your calls about how you were feeling 6 months after the Women’s March on Washington. So for this week’s Bonus Weekend Podcast, we’ve decided to revisit a few conversations with some of the keynote speakers from the Women’s March on Washington. In 2013, Leonard talked with America Ferrera, who starred in “Ugly Betty,” about the world premiere of her dark comedy “Bethany.” In 2014, Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund, talked about her mother, Ann Richards, the former governor of Texas. And just last year, we had Gloria Steinem on the show. You can hear her discuss her first book in over 20 years, “My Life on the Road.”
