Bringing Radio Stories and Dance Together on Stage

This American Life’s Ira Glass and choreographer Monica Bill Barnes discuss combining two art forms that, as Glass puts it, “have no business being together—dance and radio.” Their show “Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host,” is a funny, lively and heartfelt evening of dance and stories, and includes radio interviews staged as theatrical dance pieces, plus stories from the lives of each of the three performers: Ira Glass, Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass. “Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host” is playing at The Town Hall, September 10–12 at 8 pm.
